Whether it’s Summer or winter, homemade pizza is always a feast. Here you’ll get classic Pizza cust and pizza dough recipe step by step. You can make perfect thick crust chicken Pizza at home like a chef.

There are countless online pizza recipes to make at home. However, you’re not going to order a pizza again after trying this recipe. If you’re going to follow this unique recipe, you’ll be in deep love with your cooked pizza. I tried a lot of different pizza-flavored recipes in my initial days. Let me drop a secret here. I have been followed many online pizza tutorials. So, I blended different recipes to make the best homemade pizza recipe in town.

This pizza recipe comprises 3 different portions.

  1. Making Pizza dough
  2. Making Pizza sauce
  3. Assembling and baking Pizza

Let’s discuss each section in steps.

  • PIZZA DOUGH:

Making thin crust pizza dough without an overpowering yeast smell is a cake now. I use all-purpose flour with less yeast and a slow rising time procedure. But bread flour could be a great option. It’s containing more gluten and you can get crispier pizza crust.

  • PIZZA SAUCE:

I usually prefer homemade fresh pizza sauce instead of store-bought sauce. Usage of fresh tomatoes and different cost-effective herbs make the biggest contribution to all-purpose homemade pizza taste.

  • ASSEMBLING & BAKING PIZZA:

You’re gonna get easy peasy tips to make healthier pizza toppings and tastier thick golden crust pizza.

 

Ingredients:

Prepare Pizza Dough:

  • 2cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon Instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon  sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Chicken Filling:

  • 2-3 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 Tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 Tsp garlic paste
  • 350g chicken strips
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tbs red chili
  • 1.5 Tbs soya sauce
  • 1.5 Tbs chili sauce

Assembling:

  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce
  • cooked chicken filling
  • sliced half onion
  • sliced half green capsicum
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • Required black olives

 

DIRECTIONS FOR HOMEMADE PIZZA RECIPE:

Prepare Dough:

  1. Add all-purpose flour, salt, yeast, sugar, and cooking oil in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour lukewarm water gradually over flour mixture
  3. knead the flour mixture well by hand until dough is formed.
  4. Cover the bowl with a lid or moist napkin.
  5.  Let it rise or double the size for 2-3 hours at room temperature 25°C-30°C.
  6. The best tip is to wait for the dough to get double in size. Time may vary based on your living country.
  7. Now transfer the dough onto a floured surface.
  8. Grease hands with oil and divide this into 2 parts.
  9. Shape them into round-shaped fine balls.
  10. You can use 1 fine ball to make pizza on the same day.
  11. While you can transfer 1 round ball into an oiled bowl.
  12. Then refrigerate that dough ball for a week (7 days).

Chicken Filling:

  1. Heat 2-3tbs in a frying pan.
  2. Add ginger and garlic paste. Cook for 2minutes.
  3. Put chicken strips and cook until color turned into light golden.
  4. Add salt, crushed red chili, soya sauce, and chili sauce, mix well and cook for 3 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Sprinkle some all-purpose flour over the kitchen counter.
  6. There are two different ways to flatten the pizza dough.
  7. You can roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin.
  8. Now, you can press the dough down in the center gently by using your fingertips.
  9. You’ll place the dough over the back of your knuckles with both hands together.
  10.  Rollover your knuckles rotating around the dough.

Assembling:

  1. Place rolled dough on an oil greased pizza pan.
  2. Prick dough with a fork to get it cooked properly.
  3. Spread pizza sauce, chicken filling, onion, and capsicum.
  4. Final step is to add cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and black olives on the top.

Baking:

The final step remaining is baking. Which is the utmost essential step to get yummy pizza.

  •  Preheat the baking oven for at least 5 minutes at 200°C.
  •  Transfer the pizza pan/cast iron pan to the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
  • Slice it and serve hot.

  • You can opt for your desired cheese. I usually use cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mexican cheese se blend is a terrific option. This is a blend of various sorts of cheese flavors.
  •  Use less yeast to get the best texture and better flavor. Never consume a lot of yeast to get dough double in size quickly.
